Cassius, a new constellation on the dome of the French electronica sky appeared circa 1999, in fact comprised two of the scene's most mature producers, namely Philippe Zdar and Hubert Blanc-Francart (aka Boombass). Besides their productions for Mo' Wax as La Funk Mob, the duo had also manned the boards for a couple of first-class LPs by French rapper MC Solaar. |
