Carl Wilson is well-known as a founding participant of the Beach Boys group, where he sang and played solo guitar. However, he recorded and issued a pair of solo albums in the early '80s. He took over supervision of the band after Brian Wilson, his oldest brother, ceded leadership of the Beach Boys because of psychological problems in '60s; incidentally, Carl Wilson was still a teenager at that time. |
