Carl Hancock Rux Albums

Carl Hancock Rux, a poet and spoken word performer, was born in Harlem, NY; later he attended Columbia University. The New York Times in 1994 called him as "One of 30 Artists Under the Age of 30 Most Likely to Influence Culture Over the Next 30 Years". Over time Rux increasingly began including elements of hip-hop, jazz, and R&B into his live poetry performances, and in 1999 he issued his debut album, Rux Revue.
