Mark Anthony Myrie (Buju Banton) was born on July 15, 1973. At the age of 13 he at first tried DJing and toasting, performing with a local sound systems, and quite soon he had his first recording. After he had some break, letting his voice to mature, and returned in early 90's with a rough growl, comparable with Shabba Ranks.
