Love Albums
From Los Angeles came Love, a psychedelic rock band that formed in 1966, and which was led by Arthur Lee and Bryan MacLean. The band's primary songwriter and guitarist Lee recorded with various groups in the 60s, before hearing the sound of the Byrds and wishing to sound more like their folk-rock music. With MacLean, a roadie for the Byrds, Lee formed Love, which would last for three albums but gather a cult following. |
